Summertime in the City!

Summer has started and we have been super busy playing all over the greater Seattle area.

We’ve had a fantastic time playing some of our favorite summer concert series like Everett’s Children’s Concert Series at Silverlake, Bonney Lake’s Kids Club Concert Series, Puyallup’s Noon Tunes, and Kent’s Summer Concert Series.

We have also been fortunate enough to play a couple of very special annual events like the 4th of July Celebration at Cal Anderson Park, Awesome Kids Day in Burien, and the super amazing family music festival in Carnation called Timber!

This week we’re on the east coast, (with the heat on our side) getting ready to melt some faces!
We’ll report back with how it goes!

Ringing in the New Year

What a fabulous year it has been…  We traveled more in 2015 than ever before and have rocked the faces of many a city AND continent. We also recorded what we think is our best album yet — Are You Listening? will be released in February of 2016.

We are so excited to be finishing up 2015 at Legoland ringing in the New Year with their Kid’s New Year’s Eve party!

Hope to see you in 2016!!

There’s Nothing We “Kent” Do

Today was our debut for the Kent Summer Concerts in their Town Square Plaza. The Town Square Plaza has a great set up, with a grassy area for sitting and having lunch, as well as a splash park that all kids can enjoy. Our friends Recess Monkey wrap up the series next week! For details on that show, check out this website: http://kentwa.gov/content.aspx?id=19622

Back in Bonney Lake!

We were back in Bonney Lake tonight to play their summer Kids Club series. These guys know how to put on a show! If you find yourself in or around the Bonney Lake area on a Monday evening, check out their cool family concert series. You can see what it’s all about here: http://www.ci.bonney-lake.wa.us/section_community/parks_recreation/special_events.shtml#kidsclub

It’s Summertime and the Living is… Busy!

We have had so many FANTASTIC shows and some really cool experiences so far this summer, like taking a ferry over to Port Orchard and Bremerton to play a couple of concerts for the Kitsap Regional Library http://www.krl.org/, going all the way to the east coast to perform – including a live concert at the Rumpus Room for Kid’s Place Live on Sirius XM Radio http://www.siriusxm.com/kidsplacelive/weeklyschedule, and having a very talented friend, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo http://secretagent23skidoo.com/ join us on stage at Rox in Sox http://www.roxinsox.com/ in the Portland, OR area.
Out of all of those great memories, some of the best will be time spent with our families at these awesome shows. We feel so fortunate to be able to include our children in some of these performances, and to give them a true “rock star” experience. From set-up to clean-up, our kiddos are there with us most of the time and help out however they can. Whether it’s being a roadie and helping to unload equipment, teaching kids in the audience some of our dance moves, playing tambourine or cowbell on stage with us (MORE COWBELL PLEASE!), or just entertaining each other, they always make every show a success for us! They are the reason we are doing what we do! We couldn’t (and wouldn’t want to) do it without them!

The Big Top Rocks!!

We had another epic concert today under the big tent! If you haven’t yet experienced a “Big Top Rock” event at Teatro ZinZanni, you really must put it on your life-to-do list. These people know how to entertain both kids and grown ups alike! There is still time to get tickets for upcoming shows.
